Happy Thursday!!
We're a few weeks behind on updates but our trip up to Lubbock for the Cummings' 60th Wedding anniversary went well :) I met all of the relatives I hadn't been able to meet up until this point and we had a good time visiting with everyone. I didn't take a lot of pictures since everyone else was taking a bunch but here are a few pictures that my mother in law Tammy took with her camera:

On the way back, there was some snowy/icy weather and ALL of the flights out of the airport were cancelled for the day. After some heated phone conversations with Continental airlines, Tammy was able to get us on a flight leaving out of Dallas (Love) airport and we hitched a ride to Dallas with Tammy and John. We sure were glad they didn't just drop us off at the airport!! It was a pretty long day of traveling. We finally got home in time to hear that the Saints won the super bowl. Little bit of a bummer that we missed the game, but eh, what can you do?
Other than that, here's a picture from our Valentine's Day date to Oceanaire :) As always, the food and atmosphere was great and we had a good time getting out on the town for dinner.

We hope everyone is doing well and had a great Valentine's Day - and a special shout out to my Rice Swimmers who are competing at their Conference USA meet now through Saturday evening. We'll be going to watch finals on Friday or Saturday - so weird to not be a part of it anymore and I miss it so much :( but I hope everyone swims incredibly fast and of course, that UH comes in dead, dead, dead last :) lol.
